The Ghana Premier League heavyweights have terminated their contract with their assistant coach, Kickgh.com can exclusively confirm.
Asante Kotoko have officially sacked Coach Akakpo Patron after a two-year stay with the club.
Akakpo's contract with the Kumasi-based club was abrogated following the arrival of Coach Johnson Smith.
He joined the Porcupine Warriors lads from fellow Premiership side West African Football Academy SC (WAFA SC).
Kotoko have signed the head coach of Karela United, Johnson Smith as their new deputy trainer as Kickgh.com reported earlier this week.
Asante Kotoko are currently preparing for their CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
