Fatawu Mohamed Captain of Hearts of Oak, Fatawu has renewed his stay with the club for another two years ahead of the start of the 2019/2020 league season.
The 27-year-old joined Hearts of Oak in 2013 from Real Tamale and has become an indispensable figure in the squad for Hearts of Oak.
Mr. Kwame Opare Addo Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Accra Hearts of Oak confirmed to the GNA Sports on Saturday morning.
He said all financial details with regard to the new contact have settled and the player is expected to feature in the game agains against Berekum Chelsea on Sunday.
The extension, thus, wards off potential suitors of the player as Asante Kotoko were lurking around to whisk him away to Kumasi should negotiation had broken down between the player and Hearts of Oak.
