Ghana Premier League side Aduana Stars have distanced themselves from comments made by their coach W.O. Tandoh towards Asante Kotoko Coach Maxwell Konadu.
W.O. Tandoh in an interview verbally abused Asante Kotoko Coach Maxwell Konadu in an interview where he called him a ‘village coach’.
In a statement released by the club signed up the club’s communication director Evans Oppong read,
“We as Aduana Stars would like to distance ourselves from the comments of coach W. O. Tandoh, it doesn't represent our views, it's his own personal view”.
“We apologize to Asante Kotoko, to coach Maxwell Konadu, to the Coaches Association and all affected parties”.
“We as a club will take a decision on him and it could be any decision; we could suspend him or make a new appointment of a new coach to replace him".
