Algeria has flown in 1,500 fans to galvanize the team to avoid a Ghana-like exit from the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
The additional fans are expected to offer support to the Desert Foxes ahead of their Group F decider against Cote D'Ivoire in Doula on Wednesday.
Djamel Belmadi's team, who have just a point from two games must beat two-time winners Cote D'Ivoire to stand any chance of qualifying to the knockout stage.
The arrival of the fans will serve as a booster to the Algerian team, whose 35 unbeaten runs came down crashing after losing 1-0 to Equatorial Guinea.
Algerian fans are noted for traveling across Africa in their numbers and could provide the impetus needed for this make-or-break tie.
The Desert Foxes battle the Elephants in Japoma while Equatorial Guinea and Sierra Leone meet in the other group F match with the match expected to be played simultaneously.
