The Ghana Tennis Association (GTA) will on 6th March organise the maiden edition of the National Senior Tennis Championship dubbed the "Presidents' Cup".
The championship, which is in commemoration of the 53rd celebration of Ghana's Independence, will have three doubles event for the men and one for the women.
The Presidents Cup would also be used to inaugurate the newly refurbished national tennis courts at the Ohene Djan Stadium, Accra.
A statement signed by Emmanuel Abban Sagoe, Secretary General of the GTA said that the occasion will be witnessed by Prof. John Evans Atta Mills, President of the Republic of Ghana, who is expected to grace the event and also perform the closing ceremony.
He called on interested tennis players to contact the Ghana Tennis Association for the necessary registration.
