A Research Fellow at the IEA, Professor John Asafu-Adjaye has called for the strengthening of state institutions responsible for managing the oil and gas sector. He said strengthening of such institutions like Parliament, Public Interest and Accountability Committee, and GNPC, will position them better to perform their constitutionally mandated function.
