The call from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and other well-meaning members of society for the Chief Justice to probe the allegation (captured on a secret tape) by former Deputy Communications Minister, Victoria Hammah, that Nana Oye Lithur, Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection was used as a conduit to influence the verdict of the 9 member panel of judges on the election petition sounds typical; but for it to emanate from a member of the Government�s Communication Team might defy logic.
