The Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) has admitted putting up erroneous data after Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, 2016 Vice-Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party pointed out inconsistencies with the two main sets of data – inflation and the GDP - on which the country is seeking a bailout from the IMF when he indicated the anchor will not hold if the data upon which the programme is built is not credible.
