There is an impending by-election to be held in the Talensi constituency of the Upper East Region. This follows the installation of the incumbent MP Hon. Robert Nachinab Doameng Mosore as chief of Tongo Traditional area and his subsequent resignation from Parliament as announced to members of the august house by the Speaker Rt. Hon.
