The chiefs of Kwahu Abene, had denied the nomination and outdooring of a new Kwahumanhene.

They told Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Angwubutoge Awuni, Eastern Regional Commander of Police at a meeting at Abene that there are no such plans.
