Gifty Twum-Ampofo, New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Abuakwa North in the Eastern Region, has stated that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for the area, Victor Smith, had offered two of the NPP constituency executives an amount of GH¢1,000 each to resign and join his campaign team.
