Twelve-year-old Gabriella Ellis of the Delhi Public School (DPS) in Accra placed 1st runner-up after over 12 hours of grueling competition at the grand finale of this year’s annual National Spelling Bee contest, which was held at the Accra International Conference Center on Saturday, February 5.
