President Akufo-Addo has had cause to caution metropolitan, municipal and district chief executives (MMDCEs) against delighting in being addressed with big titles such as ‘Honourable’ and ‘Excellency.’ President Akufo-Addo indicated that “the best effort of the President of the Republic and the ministers of state will be brought to naught if you in this room do not perform creditably.”
