The Accra High Court has ordered the Electoral Commission to within 12 months put in place modalities to register Ghanaians living abroad to vote in the 2020 elections. It held delays in the implementation of the Representation of the People Amendment Act, also known ROPAA law [Act 699] by the Commission was a breach of the fundamental human rights of citizens living abroad.
