Over the weekend, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) met at a conference in Kumasi, the Ashanti Regional Capital, to elect the national executives who would lead the party for the next four years. The conference ended at dawn on Sunday with the election of Mr. Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey as Chairman with others being elected into various executive positions.
