Zenith Bank Ghana, on Thursday launched Z-WEB Acquiring verified by visa, an online trading product to enhance online transactions, ensure security and to ease in trading.
The product which is the first of its kind in West Africa is expected to bring thousands of business and clients together for enhanced online transaction.
Speaking at the media launch of Z-WEB Acquiring verified by visa Mr. Daniel Aseidu-MD/CEO of Zenith Bank Ghana said �consumers and merchants can now make secure online payment without fear of compromised security as well as enjoy a hassle-free settlement and protection against fraud-related chargebacks and disputed transactions.
The launch of Z-WEB Acquiring verified by visa is to create value for stakeholders and in fulfillment of our mission statement which is to continue to invest in the best people, technology and environment.�
�The product will eliminate reputation risk due to fraudulent card transactions, enhance brand equity and ensure real time card authentication and payment authorization� he further stated.
The Z-WEB Acquiring verified by visa is limited to customers of Zenith Bank alone meaning that every one who requires the use of this innovative product will have to acquire a Zenith account to qualify for the service.
Zenith bank last year launched the Z.com to support SME�s and expected to bring thousands of businesses online with a bundle of free interactive websites.
