Election 2012: A second Term Beckons Mills

The President of Ghana, Prof. John Evans Atta Mills, is confident Ghanaians will renew his mandate come the December elections because he has performed creditably well. He said his tenure has chalked an unprecedented achievement compared to the eight-year rule of the past Kufuor administration and the countless number of development projects scattered across the country are monumental prove to exonerate him. Speaking during an interaction with journalists in the United States to end his official trip there, President Mills said his achievements span from the economic sector to education among others and they are conspicuous enough for all to see. If you take the economy, the achievement that we have made is unprecedented, President Mills said. As far as Im concerned, we have done extremely well in all areas. It will be wrong on my part to say now we have done everything. Ghana doesnt need anything. President Mills added: There is a marked improvement between what we came to find and what it is that Ghanaians can find for themselves. I think we are going to have a renewal of our mandate because Ghanaians can see the difference. We are not going to be complacent. We are going to make sure that all the works in progress are completed and everybody has a good idea as to the extent to which we have gone in fulfilling the promise we made.
