Radio Presenter Chases Musicians For Cash

Much as stakeholders work around the clock to bring the countrys entertainment industry to a respectable level, some players continue to engage in acts which do not only bring their own integrity, reputation and professionalism into question, but also drag the entire industry into disrepute. Presently, a radio presenter, Anim Addo is on the heels of two of the nations finest highlife musicians Kofi Nit (of Rakia fame) and K.K. Fosu for the refund of an amount of GH1,600, the two (musicians) collected but for which they did not work for. According to the radio presenter although all attempts to reach the two music stars for his money has proved futile since both of them have changed their mobile phone numbers, he is determined to use all legal means to collect his money at all cost. Available information indicates that sometime in December last year, Anim Addo and his team contracted the highlife musicians, Kofi Nti and K.K. Fosu to perform at a pre-Xmas event at Mamfe-Akuapem in the Eastern Region on December, 23. They were subsequently paid GH1000 and GH600 respectively whilst arrangement for their lodging was all put in place.
