Kofi Adams' suspension isn't in the interest of the NDC - David Annan

A member of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) legal team has described as unfortunate the suspension of the partys Deputy General Secretary, Kofi Adams, for three months. Mr Adams is accused of plotting to scuttle President Mills second term bid in a treacherous conspiracy with the nephew of the main opposition Flagbearer. A leaked audiotape with a voice purported to be that of Mr Adams speaking to Gabby Asare Othcere Darko was the basis for the suspension. But legal practitioner David Annan believes there is the need to resolve the matter quickly in the NDCs interest. Mr. Adams has on several media platforms denied the allegation and said his suspension is unfair. Mr. David Annan who was speaking on Radio XYZs current affairs programme, THE ANALYST, wishes the matter sees a closure soon. Its a pity. I feel very sorry that it had to come to this. I hope that some resolution can quickly be made. It is not in our interest to perpetrate this. He said even though some party members were exasperated with the views expressed by Mr. Adams on many platforms, there is no reason why he should be ostracised from the party. As they say, free speech, freedom of movement doesnt really, within proper grounds, settings and boundaries cause any harm. I think Kofi Adams situation should be quickly resolved.
