One person has been confirmed dead at the Tema Port after five men fell into a manhole on Tuesday morning. According to an eyewitness, three men have been rescued and are receiving treatment at the Tema General Hospital whilst the fifth person is still trapped in the sewer. He said the fifth person is feared dead after being trapped in the sewer for more than six hours. Personnel from the Ghana Police Service and the Ghana National Fire Service have all arrived at the scene to try and rescue the trapped victim. All the five men are reported to be workers of the Ghana Ports and Harbour Authority.
