Coca-Cola Rewards Distributors

Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Ghana Limited (CCBCGL) has presented five brand new Tata Ace trucks to five key distributors who have contributed to the growth of its Minute Maid Juice brand as part of a promotion that ended early this year. The distributors were Theresa Ayensu from Takoradi, Naana Maison from Kumasi, Francisca Boateng-Amponsem from Accra, Florence Abrokwa from Koforidua and Vera Laingoye Tetteh from Accra. Francisca Boateng-Amponsem, on behalf of the other distributors, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to CCBCGL for having the passion to reward them for their contributions towards the growth of Minute Maid Juice. She pledged their unflinching support to the growth of any brand that the company will introduce on the Ghanaian market. Speaking at the presentation ceremony in Accra, Xavier Selga, General Manager of CCBCGL, commended the winners for their dedication and commitment towards the growing of the brand. He indicated the company�s commitment to the nation�s growth through the creation of employment in its factories and depots, as well as the development of customers and retailers nationwide who continue to be the driving force behind the company�s growth. �It is to this end that CCBCGL organized this incentive, for the second time, to recognize key distributors who contributed to a stellar performance of the company�s juice brand, Minute Maid,� he added. According to him, Minute Maid was introduced into the country in June 2009 in four flavors, namely, Orange, Pineapple, Apple and Vita-Fruits. In December, 2011 two new flavors, Mango and Guava were added to the range to satisfy a cross section of consumers. He stated that the company intended to be present in all Non- Alcoholic Ready to Drink (NARTD) categories and has achieved remarkable success with the introduction of Minute Maid juice, Burn Energy drink, Bon Aqua and Schweppes Malt. He urged Ghanaians to stick to all their products and be rest assured that the company will continue to offer quality service delivery to its consumers and the general public.
