The chief of Kpatinga, Naatogmah Ziblim, who was arrested on Tuesday by a joint police-military team has been released, Citi News checks reveal. The chief who was enskinned by the Abudu Regent, Boling-Lana Abdulai Mahamadu, was picked by the security and whisked to the Northern Regional Command. His arrest incurred the wrath of the Abudus in Yendi who went on a tyre burning spree on the principal streets in the Yendi Township. The beleaguered Kpatinga chief has been asked to report Wednesday morning. His brother, Jabila Alhassan Ziblim, confirmed his release to Citi News, saying �Yes he has been released and we are to report back Wednesday morning; when he was writing his statement our lawyer asked what was his charge and what they said was that there was a letter from REGSEC that Boling-Lana should not enskin anybody as a chief.� He added, �Our Lawyer asked what sort of letter is that when others are enskinning chiefs all over in clear violation of the road map to peace, are the people trying to be selective in their dealings? Then the man replied we are only doing our work that is between you and the REGSEC.� Meanwhile, Alhaji Sulemana Mahama Sibdoo, the chairman of a group called the Positive Action for Justice, Reconciliation and Development in Dagbon has called on the feuding factions to ceasefire and smoke the peace pipe. He said, �Two wrongs don�t make a right and the current situation where people are trying to make a right out of two wrongs is not good for Ghana and Dagbon.� He stressed, �There are too many positive things going on in Dagbon which we must concentrate on rather than dwelling on the negative aspects which can only track our development backwards.�
