Bismark Mpaepo Brown, host of the morning show on E-TV Ghana and also a broadcast journalist working with Happy FM, has been acquitted and discharged of allegations that he was possessing and using illicit drugs.
Bismark, popularly known as BB, was taken off the station�s morning show after news spread last November that he had been arrested and was standing trial on allegations of drug charges.
But when the case was called in an Accra Court last week, the Prosecutor, Nii Akakpo, told the presiding Judge, Justice Ofori Atta that after a careful study of the docket, the State came to a conclusion that there was no evidence available to prosecute BB and the other accused persons.
Justice Ofori Atta therefore discharged the accused persons.
Sources say Bismark Brown, in the second week of April, would resume duty as host of the ETV Morning show.
