The opposition New Patriotic Party�s Vice Presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has been officially introduced to the National Executives of the party. This was his first official visit to the party�s headquarters to meet the executives after he was recently endorsed unanimously as Nana Akufo-Addo�s running mate. He expressed his appreciation to the National Executives and also asked for their support in partnering Nana Akufo-Addo towards the December elections in a closed door meeting. Dr. Bawumia was selected for the second time to partner Akufo-Addo for the upcoming December elections. After his selection on Thursday, many political analysts have said that the NPP will have to work hard to wrestle power from the ruling NDC due to the Dr. Bawumia�s perceived political inexperience. The NDC has also stated that the NPP will again be defeated in the December polls because the selection of Dr. Bawumia will not improve the fortunes of the party.
