The former deputy National Youth Organiser of the Convention People�s Party, Francis Opai Tetteh has resigned from the party. Mr. Opai Tetteh who has been with the CPP for ten years now claims his resignation is not politically motivated. In an interview with XYZ News, he said his resignation will prompt the leadership of the party to recognise and respect the youth of the party, something that he laments is lacking in the current CPP. Mr. Opai said �my resignation is supposed to communicate a clear message to the CPP�. He added that �I have decided to sacrifice myself so that the youth of the party will be taken seriously and respected�.
