President Mills' Wife On Election 2012

Ghanas First Lady, Dr. Mrs. Ernestina Naadu Mills has called on all Ghanaians to pray for the peace to reign before, during and after the polls in December. The First Lady made the call when she joined a congregation at the Calvary Presbyterian Church, Haatso near Accra to worship. She advised the church to instill the culture of praying in their children and urged them to consider the country in their prayers. The service, which formed part of the commissioning of a new church complex for the Calvary Presbyterian Church was attended by the First Lady as the Guest of Honor. She unveiled a plague to officially open the Church complex. Dr. Naadu Mills charged the congregation to surrender their lives to Christ if they have not done so and also appealed to them to impart family values into their children. She maintained that the family is biggest unit of the society. Rt. Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Martey, Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana commended the First Lady for honoring their invitation and also expressed appreciation to the members of the Calvary Congregation for their contribution and their support in putting up the complex for Gods work. He said working to facilitate the worshiping of God is a responsibility of all Christians which comes with a reward.
