RadioXYZonline.com can confirm that a serious accident has occurred at a political rally ground on the Kumasi Polytechnic campus in the Ashanti Region. A KIA truck loaded with pillars, canopies and passengers tipped over, seriously injuring about ten of the passengers in the process. No deaths have been recorded so far. XYZ News� Ashanti Regional correspondent, Isaac Bediako Justice reports that the injured are waiting to be transported to the hospital. Some of the victims are receiving first aid treatment at the Red Cross stand on the rally grounds. The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo Addo, who is scheduled to address a rally at the Kumasi Polytechnic park on Friday, touched down moments before the accidents occured. He is undertaking a nationwide tour dubbed, Tour to Restore.
