NDC Slams Nana Akufo Addo

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) says it is not surprised at comments by New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer that the Mills-led administration has failed to implement all promises made during the 2008 elections. Nana Akuffo Addo at a rally in Kumasi on Friday challenged the Mills administration to provide proof of any campaign promise it has delivered. Responding to the challenge, the Propaganda Secretary of the NDC, Richard Quashigah told XYZ News that Nana Akufo-Addo is making such comments out of desperation to win the presidency in the impending polls. What else would you expect Nana Akufo-Addo to say? Here is a man who is desperately looking for power and therefore will see not good and hear no good about the Mills administration, So it is not surprising. According to Mr Quarshigah, while the NPP flagbearer is deriding the achievements of the government, the international community is applauding him for a good work done. Citing some programmes executed in the educations sector as evidence of the performance of the government, Mr. Quarshigah said the promises we made to Ghanaians which weve fulfilled are out there for all to see. You can see that clearly in the education sector. We said we were going to develop human capacity and all that [and] we have done those. Clearly you can see the number of schools that have been built.
