NDC Dares Martin Amidu...

The General Secretary of the Greater Accra regional branch of the National Democratic Congress, Aristo Aryee has dared former Attorney General and Minister for Justice, to expose persons he claims are engaged in unconstitutional activities. In his latest statement, Martin Amidu has dared President Mills' administration to publish a letter he wrote in January this year exposing "unconstitutional" activities of certain individuals including the President; else he will expose them if they continue to tarnish his reputation. His statement follows a recent interview he granted an Accra based radio station explaining the circumstances surrounding his dismissal. Mr. Amidu in his latest statement also explained why he has decided not to use the government and party channels for his advocacy for accountability and transparency. According to Mr. Amidu the "ignorant" members of governments communication team are resorting to lies to bring down his image, but he will continue to fight unconstitutional activities as he is known for since the PNDC era. However, Mr. Aristo Aryee in an interview with XYZ News said the former Attorney General should be bold enough to name these persons. "To me he is the worst Attorney General we have ever had in Ghana". Aristo Aryee said adding that "all he is doing is accusing people and making statements that he himself cannot defend". "A lot of people have called on him to come out. What is preventing him from coming out because at the end of the day he is an outcast already".
