NPP Calls For Public Enquiry Into 'Woyome Saga'

The NPP Minority caucus in parliament has called on the government to institute a truly independent public enquiry with live broadcast on all public Television and Radio networks in order to unravel the truth in the Alfred Woyome issue for receiving 58 million Ghana Cedis from the State as judgement debt. The Minority Leader Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, at a news briefing said any distinguished sitting judge or retired could preside. Membership should also include GBC, the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Institute of Surveyors and Architects. This, the minority believes would unearth whether or not there was a contract between Alfred Woyome and the State.
