Golden Tulip Accra Is Africas Best

The sterling strides of Golden Tulip Accra toward building a vibrant tourism industry in the country and beyond has been acknowledged, as the hotel has picked a top award at the 7th Ghana-Africa Business Awards ceremony held in Accra at the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel. The Ghana-Africa Business Award Scheme was instituted under the auspices of the then Ministry of Regional Integration and NEPAD (subsequently incorporated into the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration) to honour enterprises which make significant contribution to Ghanas development through the promotion of trade, investment and other economic relations between Ghana and sister African countries in response to the NEPAD challenge. This year marked the 10th anniversary of NEPAD and the 7th Ghana-Africa Business Awards ceremony was being dedicated to the anniversary. Golden Tulip Accra, Ghanas leading four-star hotel, was decorated as a Platinum Award Winner in recognition and acknowledgement of its outstanding quality services and standards. An ecstatic top-management staff of the hotel made it to the event to receive the award with pride. In a brief remark, Mr. Khan paid glowing tribute to the dedicated and industrious staff, loyal clients and owners of the hotel, GLAHCO Hotel & Tourism Development Company, through whose collective efforts we have reached this milestone and won this prestigious award. He said the award is a motivation to the hotel in its efforts to chalk up more successes and honours, and also make more meaningful contributions to enhance the image and prospects of the tourism and hospitality industry in Ghana and Africa as a whole.
