Koku Anyidoho Gaffe: Mills Is Being Hypocritical - NPP

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is accusing President Mills of being hypocritical over the continuous engagement of Koku Anyidoho as the Presidential spokesperson. The NPP says last weeks fracas between Mr. Anyidoho and a member of the government communication team Sam George exposed Mr. Anyidoho as the mastermind behind the use of insults and lies within the NDC. NPP General Secretary Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie in an interview with XYZ News said President Mills' posture contradicts his stance against the politics of insults. He said Mills had the opportunity to call for decency in our political discourse and yet watches his appointees use unprintable words on his political opponents otherwise Koku Anyidoho will not be where he is as we speak. Mr. Owusu Afriyie popularly known as Sir John added he would have gone just as he decided to fire somebody. He ought to have done the decent thing by leaving and if he is not doing that the President must have done that But the deputy General Secretary of the ruling NDC George Lawson disagrees describing his comments as unfortunate. He doesnt know what he is talking about; it is an unfortunate statement to say that the first gentleman of the land is incompetent as a result of something that he has acted on. Maybe he couldnt interpret the English very well, it is not the local language and I am sure if it was the local language he would have understood.
