Four people are feared dead on the Dunkwaw Obuasi road when a truck carrying a bulldozer collided with a Hundai Urvan at the a place called Kwapea on Wednesday morning.
An eyewitness, Emmanuel Tonylove, who witnessed the accident told XYZ News, the No Bird truck was heading to Obuasi from Dunkwaw while the Hyundai Urvan carrying some passengers, was coming from the opposite direction.
The incident is said to have occurred a few minutes to &:00am.
According to him, the Urvan tried to avoid the truck which had partially taken over the road but lost control and veered into the nearby bush trapping all the passengers in the process.
Onlookers came to the rescue of the passengers, some of whom were unconscious when the police got to the scene. Others sustained various degrees of injury with broken limbs and peeled skin.
The police are assessing the situation while the injured have been sent to the hospital for treatment.
