Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire reach ECOWAS Games Volleyball finals

Ghana's Ladies will battle their Ivorian counterparts in the finals of the Volleyball event at the ongoing Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Games on Thursday, June 21 at the courts of the Accra Sports Stadium. The match will be a repeat of the handball final which saw the Francophone’s triumph 27-12 over the hosts. Ghana accounted for Niger 3-0 in the semi-final played on Wednesday whilst Cote d’Ivoire humbled Sierra Leone by a similar scoreline. Sierra Leone and Niger will battle out for bronze in the third-place playoff ion the same day.
