Does NPP Only Want People Of Methuselahs Age To Criticize Nana Addo?

A member of the Governments Communication Team, Felix Ofosu Kwakye, says it is absurd how members of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) try to hush him up by bringing up the issue of his small boy status anytime he questions the aptitude of their flag bearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, to run for the highest office of the land. To him, if the NPP considers his critique of their presidential candidate, who they believe is a self-made politician to be in bad taste, for the simple reason that he (Felix) is a small boy, they should also in like manner tame the mouth of some of their communicators, especially Sammy Awuku and Samuel Abu Jinapor, since they are equally guilty of slamming President Mills, a University Lecturer and a Professor of Law. Does the NPP only want people of Methuselahs age to criticize Nana Addo? he asked. Clearly irritated by comments from the NPP directed at his age, Felix, who disclosed that he is in his thirties, stated on PeaceFMs Kokrokoo programme that empirical evidence shows Nana Addo was a vociferous critic of the late Kutu Acheampongs government at the age of thirty three. To him, so long as political parties continue to campaign to the youth, some of whom are eighteen years old and above, they should be prepared to take criticism from them. He minced no words in labeling the NPP a hypocritical institution made up of hypocrites who are quick to jump on him for wrongs they themselves cannot claim not to have committed before. Samuel Awuku, either I am older than him or we are of the same age, had the guts to stand in front of TESCON members and call the IGP a hapless son of a woman (obaa ba)At that time, didnt they (NPP) know that younger persons should season their words when talking to older people? Abu Jinapor can also sit on radio and call the president a hypocriteisnt this also disrespectful? he quizzed. Ofosu Kwakye, who also doubles as the Executive Director of Research and Advocacy Platform (RAP), a youth advocacy group within the ruling NDC, admitted describing the NPP Presidential candidate as irresponsible for issuing a goodwill message to president Mills.
