Agya Koo Misses Three Penalties

Agya Koo missed three penalty kicks to hand this years Star Soccer Fiesta title to the Black Stars select side. The famous actor could have won the game which ended 4-4 in regulation time had he converted a penalty on the stroke of full time. The game which started at a slow pace saw Baffour Gyan open the scoring for the Black Stars select side within 20 minutes. Midfielder Kwadwo Asaoah doubled the lead seven minutes later with a superb effort before Daniel Opare scored the third late in the half. There was however enough time for Emmanuel Adebayor to get the celebrities back into the game before halftime. According to the games rules, every goal scored by the celebrities will count for two so the scoreline as at halftime read 3-2. Ben Acheampong extended the Black Stars select sides lead but Asamoah Gyan who featured for the celebrities drew level before getting a golden chance to nick it after Adebayor won a late penalty for his side. Agya Koo stepped up amidst heightened cheers but sky-rocketed his kick to send the game to penalty shootouts where he again emerged the villain. The Black Stars select side had converted all of their kicks with Agya Koos proving the decisive one. He shot into the outstretched arms of Daniel Agyei but referee Ali Musah Plato ordered a retake. And though changing directions, Agya Koo was again denied by the impressive Agyei to clinch the trophy and the bragging rights for his team for yet another year.
