Nadal Sensationally Dumped Out Of Wimbledon

RAFA NADAL was sensationally dumped out of Wimbledon by unknown Lukas Rosol. Two-time SW19 champ and world No 2 Nadal lost to the first-time qualifier and world No 100. Czech Rosol won in five sets to stun tennis and leave the door open for Andy Murray, who was due to meet Nadal in the semis. Rosol said: I cant believe it. Its like a B team in the Czech Republic beating Real Madrid. Nadal shoulder-barged his opponent at a third-set change of ends. Rosol said: He wanted to take away my concentration, I knew he would try something. He tried to talk to me but I kept concentrated. Rosol, 26, lost in first-round qualifying for Wimbledon in the previous FIVE years. He added: Its an amazing feeling to have beaten someone like Rafa. I just hoped to play three good sets. I never used to prepare properly but this time I played Queens and Eastbourne. Sometimes I wake up and feel like I beat anyone. Other times I will lose to someone outside the top 500. This has really opened up our side of the draw, Ive shown that anyone is beatable. The incredible outcome will rank as the worst defeat of 11-time Slam winner Nadals stellar career. Rosol said: Before the match I wasnt sure if I would be shaking as it was my first time against Rafa and first time on Centre Court. Its amazing. Im sorry for Rafa but today I was somewhere else. Its like a dream. The last No 2 seed to lose in the second round at SW19 was Marat Safin in 2002.
