GCB Customers Urged To Patronize E-banking Services

Customers of the Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) have been urged to make maximum use of the numerous e-banking services offered by the bank to transact their businesses. This will help ease congestion that often characterized the halls of the bank across the country. Mr. Kojo Addai Mensah, Chief Operating Officer of the bank who made the appeal, said management was not happy with long queues in the banking halls. He was speaking at a ceremony to relocate the Ejisu branch of the bank to a new premise on Tuesday. The branch had since 1964 been operated from a property of the Ejisu-Juaben District Assembly at a spot near the Ejisu zongo. Mr. Mensah said the use of Automated Teller Machine (ATM), SMS services as well as other electronic services which had been developed and introduced by the bank made it convenient for customers to do business quickly at any time. He said the management was doing everything possible to move the bank to greater heights, adding that management was working assiduously to reclaim the bank�s number one status in profitability, assets and others. Mr. Mensah said the relocation of some branches of the bank was to provide modern convenient atmosphere for customers to transact business and urged them to continue to be loyal to the bank to be able to continue to enjoy convenient services in all branches. Mr. George Ackorful, the Kumasi Area Manager said the bank had made huge investment in the relocation exercise. Mr. Kwadwo Dwomoh Agyeman Duah, Ejisu Branch Manager, assured customers that the bank would continue to provide convenient services for their satisfaction.
