CSOs Resurrect Argument That Sitting Presidents Participate In Presidential Debates

Civil Society Organization, CSOs, have resurrected the argument that sitting Presidents participate in Presidential debates to allow Ghanaians to make informed choices on governance. A boycott of the IEA Presidential debate by the NDC according to the CSOs does a disservice to the citizenry by denying many a right to information meant to consolidate the country's democratic gains. At the close of an election semi-annual convention of 51 of star-Ghana's Grant partners in Accra, participants recommended that the media focus on reporting on issues and also set the agenda for Ghanaians to vote for issues based candidates, but not candidates who seek to promote acrimony during elections.
