NPP Activist Appeals To Alan Kyeremanten

A NEW Patriotic Party (NPP) activist in the Kintampo municipality has appealed to Alan Kyeremanteng, a contestant during the partys flag bearer ship race to join the Akufo-Addo campaign team. Rose Dada was speaking to the media after presenting various relief items to victims affected by the rainstorm at Babator in Kintampo. Madam Dada, who is also the younger sister of former NPP National Womens Organizer, Rita Asobayire said the Nana/Bawumia candidacy is unique but the dream of winning one touch would be easier if people like Mr. Kyeremanteng joined the campaign at its early stage instead of waiting to join later. According to her, it is undeniable that Mr. Kyeremanteng played a meaningful role in the 2000, 2004 and 2008 general elections but this is the time he is needed the most. She referred to former Vice President, Alhaji Aliu Mahama who was always in the North with Dr Bawumia campaigning for the partys flag bearer, Nana Akufo-Addo. She also appealed all NPP members in the various constituencies throughout the country not to wait for the national executive members to come to their communities before they start campaigning. There is no time to lose and as such members should hit the road running to make victory 2012 a reality, she explained. Consoling the 200 victims, Madam Dada said they should give everything to God since only He knows why that catastrophe befell them. She further appealed to government to quickly come to their aid as some of them had lost everything they toiled for in the rainstorm. She sent a special appeal to the National Disaster Management Organization asking it to help shelter those who had been rendered homeless.
