A new award scheme which seeks to reward various aspects of business and finance reporting for journalists has been launched in Accra with a call on journalists to show professionalism in their reportage. The award, dubbed �Gold Award for Business Journalism�, is to celebrate the works of business reporters who contribute to the growth of the business community and the understanding of financial instruments by the public. The event organiser, Iposu Elijah, noted that the award is designed to encourage more investigative and research-based business reporting.
