NDC Members Cautioned Against Releasing Their Voters Cards...

Ghanas Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Professor Samuel M. Quartey, has cautioned members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) against giving their biometric voters registration cards to others for safe keeping. He asked them to report any person, who would approach them for their cards, to the law enforcement agents, and said: It is unlawful to keep somebodys voter registration card. Prof. Quartey, who was addressing Apam ward of the NDC, advised supporters not to listen to the vile propaganda being launched against the NDC by its political opponents. He appealed to the supporters to inform the people about the achievements of the government to enable them to retain the NDC in power in Election 2012. Prof. Quartey appealed to party supporters not let the death of President Evans Atta Mills derail their programmes since the late President had left the party in the able hands of President John Mahama whom he (President Mills) had trained and marketed to take over from him. Mr Francis Kojo Arthur, Member of Parliament for Gomoa West, appealed the supporters to unite and campaign for the party to win the December polls. He said: There is no time for us to harbour ill-feelings against ourselves, and appealed to NDC members to use the demise of the late President to build a stronger and more united party.
