Mills Immortalized In Keta

The Volta Regional Coordinating Council has held a ceremony to unveil a large portrait in Keta in honor of the late President John Mills. This according to the Council is to show appreciation to the late President who worked hard to develop the region. Some of the traditional areas also held a similar ceremony in honor of the late leader. Speaking to Citi News, the Volta Regional Minister, Henry Ford Kamel said the portrait is an attempt to immortalize the late President. The people of Keta think that the best way to remember him is to immortalize him. The nation is in a devastated mood and everybody is showing the extent to which he or she is grieving so this is how the Keta people want to show it, the Minister said.
