Ex-Prez Mills Climbs Heavenly Stairs...

A new documentary has started appearing on the screens of various television stations in Ghana portraying the late President John Evans Atta Mills ascending into heaven, in total contravention of Christian teachings! The documentary, blasphemously shows the former President climbing up a set of heavenly stairs on his way to heaven, and later portrays him embracing Jesus Christ and being seated at his left arm among other heavenly beings. The Christian Bible insists that it is the word of God, and in that Bible, only two men, Elijah and Jesus Christ of Nazareth, ascended into heaven. Elijah went by way of a Chariot of flames, and Christ simply rose into the heavens, according to the Bible. The Bible states that all other men are born in sin are sinners and are to wait, according to the Book of Revelations, upon the judgment of the Lord at the end of days. Yesterday, Mr. Kofi Totobi-Quakyi, the Chairman of the Funeral Committee of the late President John Evans Atta Mills, did not pick a call to his phone and had not responded to a text message placed on the same by the Daily Searchlight as at press time. The documentary on television would seem to be part of the on-ongoing campaign by the Mahama administration to idolize the late President John Evans Atta Mills, contrary to what the late gentleman himself allegedly desired when he was alive. For instance, President Mills, when he was alive made such capital out of the fact that he was a humble gentleman who eschewed all forms of boastfulness. He would no doubt be shy at any suggestion that he was so sinless that upon death, he would rise directly to heaven, which would be the most boastful claim that any man can make. The emergence of the documentary on various television screens has led to a flood of calls to the Daily Searchlight, with many wondering whether it is now possible to film spirits as they rise into the heavenly realm. If it is not, then this is just somebodys ideas of what the truth is. It is in fact a lie, which means that somebody is mocking God and the memory of Atta Mills, said one caller. Others wondered why road accidents were still plaguing the nation with many lives being lost, if Angel Saint Atta Mills was really keeping his promise of watching over the nation and people of Ghana. The gullible, believing that Ghana now has a personal angel, may begin to behave in more and more reckless manner. What at all do they want to achieve with this strangely contrived production? Why do they continue to make mockery out of President Atta Mills one caller wondered.
