Leading mobile telecommunication network and headline sponsors of the Ghana Premier league GLO are expected to pay the 16 league clubs today, August 21 2012. Goal.com Ghana understands that the Nigerian mobile telecommunications giant have gone for money from the west African country and by the close of business today all outstanding debts would have been settled. Glo has initially settled part of the payment and were looking forward to settle the rest in October, but pressure from the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) and the Ghana FA made them to review the date for the payment. The 2012-13 league season is tentatively scheduled to kick off October 7. Asante Kotoko are the defending champions.
