Step Up Your Game Or Count Yourselves Out - Kuuku Dadzie Tells Black Princesses

The head coach of Ghanas senior national womens team, the Black Queens, James Kuuku Dadzie said the Black Princesses will need to improve tremendously or will suffer a first round exit at the Fifa Under 20 womens World Cup in Japan. The Princesses succumbed to a 4-0 defeat to two-time champions, USA in the opening Group D match on Monday. The Ghanaian side face another daunting task on Thursday when they come up against defending champions, Germany, who defeated China 4-0 in the other group game. Coach Dadzie managed the Princesses in the previous event in Germany when the team failed to make it beyond the group stage. But the former Black Stars defender stated he expected the team to have done better on Monday since he used almost the same set to draw 1-1 with USA two years ago. We drew 1-1 with USA last two years when they were defending champions so I expected them to have done better due to that exposure, Coach Dadzie told Goal.com Ghana. He added: The tactical play was not there, their passes were not connecting and the attack didnt look threatening. He said the team will need to raise their game tremendously or will suffer another early exit at the global showpiece.
