First edition of the Tigo Glitz Africa Fashion Week which ended last weekend saw a number celebrities hitting the runway to catwalk at the glamorous event. Fashion 101 hostess, Sandra Ankobiah, brought out her modeling side, when she put up an overwhelming performance. The Fashion 101 hostess, who was one of few celebrity models lined-up for the three-day event sparked up what was a blissful and eventful three-day event. She modeled for celebrated designers such as Mina Evans (Ghana) and Mai Atafo Inspired of Nigeria, Wanna Sambo Clothing also of Nigeria and Peachy Purr (Ghana). Big Brother Stargame housemate Keitta Ossei Massai who is a professional model also took to the runway and wowed the crowd. Even though Keitta was a model before BBA, he had not really modeled on a big platform in Ghana but the Tigo Glitz Fashion Week gave him a great opportunity to showcase his modeling skills for Ghanaians. Keitta who had his 3-day party over the weekend took his steps sturdily as the crowd cheered him up on the third and last day of the event. He modeled for both Ohema Ohene and Mai Atafo Inspired and appeared in a black shirt and shorts with colourful African print details from Ohema Ohene, and a checkered waist coast over a pair of trousers by Mai Atafo. Keitta�s appearance got the ladies screaming as he walked down the runway. Actor and Presenter Chris Attoh who was the MC for the event also decided to take to runway on the last day Sunday August 19, 2012 to the astonishment of everyone present. Chris modeled for Mai Atafo unbelievably perfect and went back to pick the microphone to continue his Emceeing like nothing happened. The Tigo Glitz African Fashion Week was held from August Friday 17 to 19, the Glitz Africa Fashion Week brought together some of the world�s best designers and models. Over a three-day period, Ghana was put on the map of the global fashion community, as the Tigo Glitz Africa Fashion Week saw an impressive patronage. The organizers have been lauded for the great planning and spectacular set up. There were musical performances on all three days from top Ghanaian musicians like Chemphe, 4x4, Irene Logan, Yaa Yaa, Sandra Houson and many others. Guests for the event included former first lady of Ghana, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, Juliet Ibrahim, actress Nana Akua Addo Confidence Haugen, Dele Momodu, Kwesi Kyei Darkwa (KKD), Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) and others.
