Ghana To Supply LPG And Electricity To Benin

President John Dramani Mahama on Thursday announced that government has embarked on a project to retool the energy sector that would enable the country to supply liquefied gas and substantial electricity to Benin. He said Ghana would also collaborate with her neighbours to share their comparative advantages that would enable them to specialize for adequate production for both domestic and external consumption. President Mahama announced this when Mr Benoit Comlan Degla, Beninois Minister of Interior and Home Security called on him at the Castle, Osu. The Minister was at the Castle to deliver a message from President Yayi Boni believed to be centered on ways by which the two countries could strengthen their relations in the political, economic and cultural ties. President Mahama said Ghana had enjoyed good relations with Benin over the years and would do everything possible to strengthen the relations for mutual benefit.
