Former Hearts of Oak captain Karim Alhassan is relieved after ending his stay with Egyptian giants Zamalek and signing for Turkish second division side Adana Demispor. The rugged centre-back was an unwanted material in the fold of the former African masters after he failed to kick a ball during his one year stay with the club making them to put him on the transfer list. �I am very relieved to have come out. This my career nearly ended, this is an experience I want to easily forget,� the Black Satellites defender stated. �Hopefully, I am back to normal and will be able to concentrate and play my football in order to get to the top again.� Alhassan failed to extend his contract with Hearts of Oak and moved to Egypt as a free agent where he and his agent pocketed a cool US$ 1 million as his signing on fee last summer.
