Teenagers Desired To See NPP Flagbearer Nana Addo Disappointed...

Several teenagers, mostly students hoping to catch a glimpse of the New Patriotic Partys (NPP) flagbearer, Nana Akufu-Addo at a rally at Kasoa on Sunday, went home disappointed when he could not show up. The flagbearer, according to them, had promised to show up at the rally which was to introduce Mrs Mavis Hawa Koomson, NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Awutu Senya East. Mr Robert Abasah, a party branch Chairman in the area told the Ghana News Agency that Nana Akufo-Addo could not come because of other equally important engagements. The Kasoa rally attracted a lot of youths, most of whom, said they came because of the NPP flagbearer, having promised to provide free secondary education if voted to become President of Ghana. Benedicta Kankah, an eleven year old girl said, she like the man Nana Akufo-Addo and wanted him to become President because my parents will not pay fees anymore. She wished Ghanaians would vote for him to enable him to implement the free education policy. Earlier on, Mrs. Koomson appealed to people in the Constituency to vote for her and urged women in particular to help her in campaigning so as to win the seat to implement her development agenda for the area.
